Finished successfully, "ON MY WAY - REMASTERED"
Last week I started to rework an episode into a remastered one, done in watercolour and liner ink.
The remastered episode is named "I did what's best", being the ninth one in the series.
With the story already refined on both imagery and dialogues/captions, (fig.1) the remaking process went well. The only difficult tasks was to choose the right colour scheme to match my personal standards, since I became more and more focused on making qualitative artworks.
I used to have a more complex colour scheme, but every comic series I'm doing I like to achieve a different vibe. I read before some Ed Edd n' Eddie comics and I truly liked the basic colour and linework of the respective comic, so I used that scheme as a reference.

No story of mine lacked these kind of elements (Fig.3 and 4), in this case is a street lamp fixture, used to be common in the hometown (called "Elba PVB 7b"). The perspective came randomly during storyboarding as usually I end every episode by an overall perspective of the area whilst the character(s) walk away.

Last night I finished all the four pages of the remastered episode. This will be probably released after the first anniversary of "ON MY WAY" and the coloured version becomes now the first episode in the 2022 version. Sadly few episodes will make it into the remastering process, (especially the episodes depicting giants, excluding even the pilot episode done in 2021). If you want to know, someday when I'll make into the comic industry at a high level, I'm going to reuse the main storyline of certain episodes and publish it further to a large audience. But until then...
The remastered episodes will be the ones I show from now on to possible clients and who want to collaborate at some point. Depicting major key interest points in a four pages comic - character (Fig.2), automotive (Fig.6), trees and animals (Fig.5), including some basic urban perspective for lowbudget projects (Fig.3)
There's more to come and since Christmas period is upcoming (can't believe it already past another troubled year), the second episode to be remastered is a Christmas/New year eve.
Enjoy! 😉💡
